This weekend, Southampton goth-punks Creeper headlined their largest-ever UK show at a sold-out Roundhouse in London. Known as When The Sun Comes, the one-off show closed the current chapter on the world-building dramatists, which started way back in 2020 with their 5/5-rated Sex, Death & The Infinite Void album.

Immerse yourself in the action below…

Such a monumental show required an unforgettable setlist, and Creeper surely delivered. Opening on old favourite VCR, it was a greatest hits smorgasbord of Annabelle, All My Friends, Born Cold, Ghosts Over Calvary, Crickets and more.

But was you might expect from an era-ending show from Creeper, the gig couldn't just finish in normal fashion. Just as their 2018 performance at KOKO climaxed in an ocean of confusion, their Roundhouse effort was topped off with, er, the decapitation of frontman Will Gould.

What this means for the narrative of Creeper going forward, we have no idea, but no sooner had Will lost his bonce did they release new single Ghost Brigade. And with live shows in Australia later this month and at Slam Dunk in 2023, we're sure to find out the band's future soon enough…

In the meantime, why not watch their K! Pit performance below!
