QOTSA cancel more festival dates, with Josh Homme needing “continued medical care”
After Josh Homme had to fly home for emergency surgery a few weeks ago, Queens Of The Stone Age have cancelled some more shows “under doctor’s orders”.
ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Royal Blood's Mike Kerr, Primus' Les Claypool and many more artists feature on Josh Homme's forthcoming Desert Sessions Vol. 11 & 12.
After teasing new Desert Sessions all the way back in May, Josh Homme has unveiled his first new instalments in a whopping 16 years: Desert Sessions Vol. 11 & 12.
The records – titled Arrivederci Despair and Tightwads & Nitwits & Critics & Heels respectively – will be out on October 25 via Matador, and feature an incredible array of guests: Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters), Mike Kerr (Royal Blood), Carla Azar (Autolux, Jack White), Les Claypool (Primus), Matt Sweeney, Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows, Toast of London), Libby Grace and Töôrnst Hülpft.
