After performing it live in Hamburg on Sunday night, Linkin Park have just shared their new single Heavy Is The Crown.
Following comeback banger The Emptiness Machine, Mike Shinoda teased that Heavy Is The Crown was a “real highlight of this new era for us, harnessing our signature sound and infusing it with fresh energy”.
And it gives us more of a glimpse of what’s to come from the band’s eighth album From Zero, which is due out on November 15 via Warner.
“Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero,” Mike previously shared. “This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future – embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
On top of that, Linkin Park have also just added more 2024 tour dates in Paris, Dallas and São Paulo – with Sleep Token and Bad Omens in support! Keep scrolling to see where you can catch ’em live this year.
