grandson is back with some huuuuuge news! As well as releasing
his first new single since 2021, the alt. artist will also be heading on his
biggest-ever headline tour.
Up first, speaking about new song Eulogy – which follows his 2021 collab
with Kesha and Travis Barker, and 2020 debut album Death Of An Optimist
– grandson explains that he wrote it “in the aftermath of a bad mushrooms
trip this summer, which led me to scrapping my album and admitting to myself and
others that I was struggling with fantasies of self-harm.
“It’s easy to feel nihilistic or cynical about the future,” he
continues, “and there’s a strange comfort in indulging in the depressing
absurdity of day to day life with the only people in the world that understand
you.”
