Ahead of next month’s North American run with Jinjer, Hanabie. have unveiled a brand-new single, Metamorphose!.
The band – vocalist Yukina, guitarist Matsuri, bassist Hettsu and drummer Chika – have released the awesome [花冷え。] - メタ盛るフォーゼ! (Metamorphose!), which got its live debut at SUMMER SONIC Osaka on August 17 and will surely slot in very nicely to their upcoming Jinjer setlist.
The last time K! saw Hanabie. was at June’s Download Festival, where they opened up Friday’s Opus Stage in thrilling fashion. In our review of the set we said that the band’s ‘spiky neon onslaught is a hell of a trip’, and that, ‘Chuck in large doses of genuinely funny tongue-in-cheek pandering and a dollop of punky attitude, and you’ve got a hell of a hangover cure to get the mud-crusted masses up and running.’
