After its announcement last month, Tool have just shared their new, extended version of 1992 song Opiate.

Entitled Opiate² (pronounced 'Opiate squared'), this reimagined, almost-10-minute-long new rendition is released in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the band's EP of the same name, which came out on March 10, 1992. Also on the way is an accompanying short film, which sees Adam Jones team up with visual artist Dominic Hailstone and is available as a Blu-ray featuring a 46-page art book with BTS photos and 'interviews and insights from special guests' on March 18.

In other Tool news, a massive vinyl edition of 2019's Fear Inoculum album will arrive on April 8.

Until then, listen to Opiate² below:
