Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency will see the metal legends take on Las Vegas’ iconic Sphere for eight nights: “We’re way f*ckin’ psyched to go next-level!”
It’s happening! Metallica have just announced an eight-show residency at Sphere in Las Vegas.
Entitled Life Burns Faster, the stint will see the metal legends play the Vegas mega-venue on October 1 and 3, 15 and 17, 22 and 24, and 29 and 31. Their no-repeat tradition will even be honoured, with ’Tallica mixing up the setlists on each Thursday and Saturday.
“About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2 back in ’23, I thought ‘We have to do this, it’s completely uncharted territory!’” says Lars Ulrich. “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months’ time, and way fuckin’ psyched to go next-level!”
Indeed, speaking of next-level, a press release promises that the venue’s ‘multi-sensory 4D technology will present a wholly unique and entirely new Metallica experience for all who attend – including James, Lars, Kirk and Robert’.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am PT from March 6.
