AFI, Interpol and more join Outbreak Fest London 2026
Victoria Park’s Outbreak Fest and All Points East crossover will host AFI’s first UK show in almost 10 years, plus the likes of Interpol, Salem, Mannequin Pussy and more.
Militarie Gun and Mannequin Pussy have teamed up again for the single World's Always Burning, which will appear on the forthcoming deluxe edition of the former's album God Save The Gun.
Militarie Gun have dropped a killer collab with Mannequin Pussy titled World’s Always Burning
It’s not the first time they’ve teamed up after Mannequin Pussy jumped aboard a new version of their song Will Logic from their 2024 reimaginings EP Life Under The Sun. In addition, MP also remixed their older hit Pressure Cooker with Dazy a few years ago.
World’s Always Burning appears on the newly-announced deluxe version of their second album God Save The Gun, which will arrive on August 7 via Loma Vista Recordings. It’s one of three new tracks, which were all going to appear on the original album until the band decided they thematically fit better on a follow-up release.
"Everything in God Save The Gun became so focused on the internal, that when it came to fitting these songs in, it felt like they had stepped outside of that perspective,” says vocalist Ian Shelton. “In my head these songs started to form into the feeling of finally coming to after being so caught up in your own head, and then realising the rest of the world is still out there and you haven’t been actively participating.”
The other two new songs on the deluxe edition are titled 3AM and I’ve Said Too Much, the latter of which is another collaboration with Dazy. In the meantime, listen to World’s Always Burning below:
