Miss May I have debuted a new single, Hand Me A Halo.

“Hand Me A Halo tells the self-narrative of losing one’s sense of self and dealing with the intrusive thoughts that come with it,” says vocalist Levi Benton. “This song came from our own confusion and loss of identity through the changing seasons of life. The fear can be constant, leaving you to question if you just want someone to hand you a halo.”

Hand Me A Halo will appear on Miss May I’s new album No Place For Me, which will arrive on October 2 via Solid State Records. Also on the tracklist are recent singles Pray For Silence and Die On The Vine.

“We stopped and asked ourselves, ‘What are we actually trying to say as artists?’” Levi said upon the album’s announcement. “The goal is for the music to be therapeutic. It’s okay to have a breakdown. You aren’t alone. You don’t have to hold it all in. I hope our latest album can meet you where you are.”
