MOTHICA has released a new EP featuring lo-fi versions of the songs from her recent release Somewhere In Between.

The original EP came out in February and marked MOTHICA’s first release on SharpTone Records and it’s now been followed up with a reimagined version titled Somewhere In Between (mothicorp’s lofi breakroom beats) that the artist - real name McKenzie Ellis - worked on with Nathan Miller, otherwise known as Icarus Moth.

“Somewhere In Between has always lived in an emotional and liminal space for me. Turning these songs into lofi remixes with Nathan Miller only felt natural,” McKenzie explains. “I wanted them to feel like memories you revisit at 2am, softer, dreamier and a little haunted. I’m so excited to have these on a cassette designed by Madison Schubert so my fans can feel the nostalgia in this sound even more.”
