Live review: My Chemical Romance, Liverpool Anfield
Black Parade? More like black magic! My Chemical Romance’s dystopian extravaganza is a masterful exercise in world-building that delights the nerds, freaks and theatre kids alike…
My Chemical Romance's Long Live The Black Parade tour's seeing them playing a rotating list of deep cuts - check out which ones they've played so far in the UK right here.
My Chemical Romance’s Long Live The Black Parade tour is rolling through the UK, and while it’s primarily an epic celebration of The Black Parade’s 20th anniversary, it’s also an opportunity for their deep cuts to get some love. It’s something My Chem have favoured ever since they started touring again, changing up their setlists every night and squeezing in rarities and surprises among their big hits. Sometimes, it gets very, very nerdy.
Every night, once they’ve ripped through The Black Parade in full, the band come down to the B-stage for a second set comprising songs from elsewhere in their discography. No two setlists are the same, and there’s no telling what MCR might pull out from their bag of tricks. Here’s a round-up of everything they’ve played so far while they’ve been in the UK.
Vampire Money
Heaven Help Us
Summertime
Save Yourself, I’ll Hold Them Back - tour debut
Cemetery Drive
Bury Me In Black
It’s Not A Fashion Statement, It’s A Fucking Deathwish
Ambulance - live debut
Our Lady Of Sorrows
Hang ‘Em High
Check back to find out what My Chem play at their London shows later this week.
