The 50 best albums of 2022
The Kerrang! verdict on the 50 albums that shaped 2022.
Appropriately – given the dark title of the track – The Prince Of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, plus Sharon and Kelly, are all set to star in the promo, with YUNGBLUD posting a behind-the-scenes reel from the shoot and captioning it, "Bringing some mates to my funeral…" while tagging Ozzy, Sharon and Kelly. In the BTS clip, YUNGBLUD and Ozzy are seen chuckling away together on set, while Sharon gets a hug from the singer. Kelly isn't spotted, but seeing as she's tagged, presumably she'll be making an appearance too.
One thing that is for sure, though, is that they all look like total badasses, and we can't wait to see how it all pans out.
Check it out below:
Back in January, YUNGBLUD teased in an interview with Apple Music’s Hanuman Welch that his next album – the follow-up to 2020's Weird! – will be incredibly personal.
“I’ve been in London, I’ve been making the third record and I’m just so excited about it,” he said. “This is, for me, the most personal music I’ve ever written. I think people are going to be a bit shocked about that because all my other music is pretty personal [but] I’ve gone deeper and it’s pretty outrageous, to be honest.”
He also shared that, “There’s a lot of cool artists I’m working with on this next record. I’ve made a lot of friends. I’ve made a lot of mates on this journey.”
YUNGBLUD will be playing a show at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust on March 23.
