Placebo to release new single Surrounded By Spies next week

Placebo have announced the release of a brand-new single, Surrounded By Spies.

The duo's latest effort will follow September single Beautiful James, with both songs presumably taken from their upcoming eighth album.

As well as promising earlier this year that the new Placebo record was "being primed for release", the pair also stated that live dates were being booked in.

And so far they've announced an exclusive UK festival appearance at Bearded Theory’s Spring Gathering in May, also featuring the likes of Nova Twins, The Mission, Amy McDonald and Peter Hook & The Light.
