Holy Wars have released a cover of Nine Inch Nails’ Hurt
Hear Holy Wars tackle Nine Inch Nails’ The Downward Spiral classic, after performing it live in an LA church last month.
Let Her Be is the opening cut on the LA band’s Ryan Adams-produced debut album, coming via Rough Trade.
“Losing my GD mind over this band Starcrawler,” is how My Chemical Romance’s founding frontman Gerard Way reacted to witnessing the breaking-through LA band for the first time. “A blend of almost all of my favourite stuff but completely new. Super refreshing to see this mix of 1970s theatricality and Stooges electricity. I want to buy the t-shirt. Check it out.”
And, here, you can! K! has something brand new from the band to share with you – the premiere of their new video, Let Her Be. Get its stylishly swaggering sounds and visuals it into your ears and eyes below.
Let Her Be is the opening track on Starcrawler’s forthcoming, Ryan Adams-produced debut album, due out via Rough Trade in early 2018. Adams has described the four-piece as “the future of the rock ‘n’ roll legacy of bands like KISS, X, Sonic Youth and The Stooges”. Big words, but they’re being backed up by stuff like this.
The director of the Let Her Be video, J. Casey Modderno, wanted to capture some of Starcrawler’s “amazing live presence” in the promo – “We decided to run with a super visceral and physical performance, full of motion, and tons of fun.”
