The magical happening that is #FooThrax lives on, as Scott Ian’s son recently performed with Foo Fighters in the studio!

This awesome new moment follows Dave Grohl hanging out with Anthrax last week – where he gave the thrash legends a “jolt” while they were working on their new record, and played Nirvana’s Scentless Apprentice on drums just for fun.

Now, in a new video uploaded by Scott Ian (but seemingly filmed by drummer Charlie Benante), the guitarist’s 12-year-old son Revel takes the spot of the one and only Pat Smear and perfectly strums along to Foos’ classic single Everlong with the band in the studio. “Rev gave Pat the day off,” jokes Scott in the caption. “He deserves it. He’s the nicest guy ever. All of these dudes are. I love you Foos. There I said it.”

Watch the video below, and keep the #FooThrax moments coming please, everyone!
