Exciting news! Takedown Festival will be back next year.

The south coast event is returning in 2023 following an eight-year hiatus, and it will be moving from Southampton to Portsmouth’s Guildhall on Saturday, April 8.

It’ll be headlined by Sleep Token and Skindred, while elsewhere the bill also includes Loathe, Jamie Lenman, Punk Rock Factory, InMe, Palm Reader, Our Hollow Our Home, As December Falls, CLT DRP, Fearless Vampire Killers, The Bottom Line, Seething Skira, Black Gold and Dendera.

“Even in these strange times it feels like the perfect time to be bringing back one of the best-loved one-day events on the south coast, taking it back to our roots with one of the biggest line-ups Takedown has ever seen,” say Divergent Festivals co-directors Kai and Sarah Harris. “We can’t wait!”
