Get ready… Slayer appear to be teasing a couple of special U.S headline dates.

The Californian thrash kings have shared two videos on Instagram – in collaboration with Live Nation LA, Live Nation Minnesota and the Mystic Lake Amphitheater – that seems to suggest they’ll be announcing more live shows, one presumably being at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and one at the Mystic Lake Amphitheater (obvs). “Better be ready,” reads the caption, along with confirmation that the official news is dropping today, April 21 at 6am PT.

So far, all Slayer have lined up in their 2026 calendar is a date at Rocklahoma on September 6, and the Fort Worth, Texas edition of Sick New World on October 24.

We last caught the band at Louder Than Life in September, writing in our review: “Not age, not a split and curious return without Dave Lombardo smashing the kit, not anything you might bring up is capable of denting the old Slayer magic. As with their banter-free showing at Back To The Beginning, there’s a middle-finger energy as they stroll on, perfectly as it should be, but not showily so. It’s just that, after 40 years and change, Slayer’s bag marked ‘fucks’ remains completely empty. It’s fucking brilliant…”
