Slipknot's Sid Wilson Says He's Wrapping Up His Parts For The New Album Right Now

The new Slipknot album is fast approaching, and it looks like the band are wrapping up their work in the studio. Case in point, DJ Sid "0" Wilson checked in via his Instagram yesterday, saying that he's in the studio wrapping up his parts on the album now.

Between this, the band's new website, and their upcoming North American tour, it looks for all intents and purposes like the promise of an August 9th release day is very real (knock on wood). Whether or not it will be altered by the departure of longtime percussionist Chris Fehn remains to be seen.
