Hardcore/rock’n’roll gang State Of You have unveiled an ‘anti-anthem’ called The New Depression.
This latest effort from the quintet – vocalist Steve Sitkowski, guitarists Ollie Jeffs and Max O’Neil, bassist Rick Keenan and drummer Nick Jones – tackles “the absolute shitshow of the current economic climate and our visceral reaction to it”.
The song follows last year’s self-titled debut EP, and arrives ahead of a headline date at Kingston’s Fighting Cocks on February 24, 2024.
