Static Dress announce three intimate ‘Panic Room V4’ UK shows
Leeds post-hardcore quartet Static Dress are playing a string of tiny release shows next month in support of their forthcoming album Injury Episode...
Ahead of their new album Injury Episode dropping next week, Static Dress are letting fans dive deeper into their lore with new game The Magistrate's Loop.
Static Dress are building on the lore of forthcoming album Injury Episode with a new psychological horror game, The Magistrate’s Loop.
The band have often dropped clues as to what their next move will be through the medium of puzzles and games and released their own Rouge Carpet Disaster-themed game for GameBoy Color in 2024. This time around, The Magistrate’s Loop is free to play on desktop and mobile.
True to form, the game is littered with Easter eggs, objects and motifs that have been scattered throughout Static Dress’ visuals. For example, the first scene - pictured below - features black and white wallpaper that’s identical to some of the flooring seen in their previous music videos, especially their early ones.
Try your hand at the game here.
Static Dress’ new album Injury Episode is out on May 29 via Sumerian and has been previewed by the singles human props, …hospice and the Underoath collaboration Nostalgia Kills.
Catch Static Dress at Slam Dunk this weekend, their Panic Room V4 release shows in June and on Bring Me The Horizon’s Count Your Blessings shows in July.
