Here’s System Of A Down’s setlist from their first show of 2026

It’s a big year for System Of A Down fans, with the band having scheduled quite a few more tour dates than they’ve tended to do in recent times.

And they’ve kicked things off in superb fashion already, headlining Las Vegas nu-metal extravaganza Sick New World alongside Korn on Saturday, April 25.

With their iconic second album Toxicity turning 25 years old in September, SOAD paid particular attention to that record throughout their 25-song setlist, unleashing a total of nine tracks from it. Elsewhere, they played five from their self-titled debut, four from Mezmerize, three each from Hypnotize and Steal This Album!, and even one of their more ‘recent’ singles, Genocidal Humanoidz.

Speaking to Kerrang! last year about potentially celebrating Toxicity in 2026 and if System were going to do anything special to mark the anniversary, frontman Serj Tankian said, “I don’t know because we’ve never really been big on birthdays of our own, let alone the records. I don’t think we even thought about the first record [1998’s self-titled debut].

“It’s all about how we can put on a great show – and Daron [Malakian] is amazing at sequencing setlists, he does the majority of that. How do we get people rocking, and then laughing, and then dancing and then rocking again? How do we make someone go through all of the emotions that are in our songs?”
