Tenacious D release official Wicked Game cover, plus majestic music video

With Tenacious D kicking off their European live return later today at Rock im Park, the duo have just shared an official studio version of their cover of Wicked Game.

The pair – Jack Black and Kyle Gass – have performed Chris Isaak’s classic live before, but have now not only unveiled a proper studio cover, but also an accompanying video that pays tribute to the original… with their own hilarious twist, of course.

It follows Tenacious D’s first original song in five years, Video Games, which was released in May and is about “growing up and leaving childish things behind, but then realising that video games are more than just mindless toys”.
