Måneskin and Iggy Pop team up for new version of I Wanna Be Your Slave
Following the release of their absolutely colossal single I Wanna Be Your Slave, Måneskin have announced a new version of the track featuring the mighty Iggy Pop.
The Godfather Of Punk is teaming up with the Italian Eurovision 2021 winners for an ‘exciting’ new rendition of the track, with Iggy simply stating, “Måneskin gave me a big hot buzz.”
The band, meanwhile, share in a joint statement: “It was such an honour that he loved our music and wanted to work with us. It was touching seeing him sing I Wanna Be Your Slave live in front of us, it was very powerful to see such a big artist being so open and friendly. We all grew up listening to his music and he inspired us to starting up a band, it’s still unbelievable for us that we had the chance to get to know him and make music together.”
