Rammstein Tease Three More New Tracks: Auslander, Puppe, and Sex
The world is still reeling after Rammstein dropped the insane video for their epic new single Deutschland only a few weeks ago, and already the band has teased two new tracks from the album. Now, the band has teased three more songs from the record via their YouTube.
Snippets of the songs, Auslander, Puppe, and, oh yeah, Sex were posted to the band’s YouTube. Each is less than half a minute long, but gets across the song’s tenor pretty well: Auslander has a fun, staccato party rock vibe to it; Puppe is just a mid-paced, gut-punching drum track; and Sex has a dirty Southern rock swing to it that’ll be interesting to hear worked in Rammstein’s patented German industrial.
And here’s Sex:
All three tracks are expected to appear on Rammstein’s long-awaited new album, titled simply Rammstein, which drops on May 17th via UME/Spinefarm.
The album has already caused considerable controversy with depictions of the Holocaust in the video for Deutschland, about which Charlotte Knobloch, Holocaust survivor and former president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, said, “The instrumentalisation and trivialisation of the Holocaust, as shown in the images, is irresponsible.”
“I consider this a tasteless exploitation of artistic freedom,” he added.
