Summer might be over, but The Xcerts' new video is making us forget about the oncoming autumn blues. The video for their '80s inspired rockathon that is Daydream has just dropped and it shows the band pining for the US west coast.

Talking about the video, vocalist/guitarist Murray Macleod said: "We were lucky enough to work with Chris Maguire at RIOT.NYC again who also made the video for Feels Like Falling In Love. He makes the whole process so comfortable and fun and we had an absolute blast making the Daydream video. We wanted it to feel pretty frantic as if you are watching a lucid dream come to life. We were really inspired by the movie Spun, only there was no crystal meth involved,  just good vibes and a couple of our best friends. Funnily enough, the performance sequence was shot at the Haunt in Brighton where we are kicking off the UK tour. Thankfully i won't dripping in sweat before reaching the stage this time round! We are so incredibly excited to kick off the tour tonight in Brighton. We are debuting some new songs and we are going to give it all we've got. In our eyes, this is the start of the Hold On To Your Heart touring cycle and we are gonna do it right!!"
