Not for the first time, twenty one pilots' Tyler Joseph picked an onstage moment to surprise fans and make a very special family announcement.
Following a September 2019 show at Lollapalooza Berlin in which the frontman announced that his wife Jenna was pregnant with their first child (Rosie Robert, who was born in February 2020), Tyler revealed at last night's MTV VMAs that she is now expecting their second child.
"My wife is pregnant!" the vocalist announced during a typically spectacular performance of Saturday, adding: "I didn't want to text everybody…"

Of course, the couple became parents for the first time at the start of the pandemic, with the frontman explaining how their time at home with young Rosie fed into the creation of twenty one pilots' latest album Scaled And Icy.
"We had big life moments happen for us," Tyler told Kerrang!. "I became a dad, Josh got married. My wife says my daughter is 15 months, and every time she says 'months’ I have to do the numbers! But she’s a little over a year old, and it’s a lot of fun. I think that she thinks I’m a bum, my daughter; she thinks I do nothing!"
