twenty one pilots Release Video Comparing Tours From 2013 And Now

Since the release of their 2015 album Blurryface, twenty one pilots have become one of the biggest bands on the planet – and it's hard to imagine things any other way.

But before that, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun were touring tiny venues in America, trying to make a name for themselves on brilliant, major-label debut Vessel. The modest crowds were in their hundreds rather than thousands, and the mind-blowing production we've seen from the duo over the past three years was restricted to a minimum.

Looking back on that time as they hit Arizona on their phenomenal Bandito tour, twenty one pilots have posted a comparison video from when they first played the state in 2013. "A lot of load-ins under our belt and this might be one of the worst…" says Tyler, before they play to a room you simply couldn't picture them performing in today.

Check it out.

Both fascinating and inspirational stuff.

If you want more proof that twenty one pilots' Bandito run is one of the most impressive tours of the year, pick up the new issue of Kerrang! for a massive poster pull-out book.
