WARGASM announce Explicit: The Mixxxtape, first single to drop this Friday

As they alluded to in February's cover story, WARGASM are finally set to drop their debut project this summer!

Explicit: The Mixxxtape will arrive via slowplay and Republic Records in partnership with Island Records UK within the next few months, with the brilliantly titled lead single D.R.I.L.D.O coming this Friday (May 13).

Speaking to Kerrang! earlier this year about what they had been working on behind the scenes, Milkie Way teased: “We know we’re at that point now where we’re ready to release an album, because the hardest part of being in WARGASM recently has been resisting the urge to leak all these fucking songs! They’re outrageously good – I love them so much – and I can’t wait for people to hear them.”

“There’s something to be said for coming from a songwriter background,” Sam Matlock explained. “It means you always want to be better, you always want to explore and evolve, and that’s been the hold-up with the record. We wanted to get it to the point where we’re like, ‘Fuck me, this needs to come out!’”
