Listen to Saint Agnes’ new industrial rock banger, The Ghost
“It’s the soundtrack to a hot, sweaty night in a vampire nightclub…” Watch the video for Saint Agnes’ new single The Ghost.
“I wrote Get Them Out for a friend who would listen to the bullying and the antagonistic voice in his head and believe it," Saint Agnes' Kitty A Austen says of their new single, Get Me Out.
Saint Agnes have dropped an empowering new single, Get Them Out.
Get Them Out follows the previously released singles The Ghost, Good Boy and The Father, The Son And The Holy Beast, all of which will appear on their upcoming album Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin. The record will drop on May 29 via Spinefarm.
“I wrote Get Them Out for a friend who would listen to the bullying and the antagonistic voice in his head and believe it,” says vocalist Kitty A. Austen. “I wanted him to see himself the way I do, as a beautiful person, and to treat himself better. This is my favourite riff on the record, it’s a constant, revving build-up of tension, like an agitated, mental state that allows for no comfort or resolution. This was the first song that Jim Pinder mixed from the record, and it set the blueprint: crushing, spitty industrial balanced with expansive, melancholic beauty.”
Meanwhile, the song’s visuals are intended as a nod to the iconic music video for Nine Inch Nails’ hit March Of The Pigs.
“We had an hour to spare at the end of filming for another song so we decided to do a one take, live rendition of Get Them Out as an homage to our favourite music video of all time. no edits, one shot, make-up artist cameo and all. I’m sure people will hate us for it.

Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin was initially meant to be released last Halloween but had to be postponed, according to the band, “due to circumstances outside of our control”.
