Fresh from an amazing main stage appearance at last month’s Reading & Leeds, WILLOW has just unveiled a brand-new single, curious/furious.

The track is taken from the star’s upcoming album <COPINGMECHANISM>, which is due out on September 23. Speaking to Billboard and teasing what’s to come from the LP, genre-wise, WILLOW recently teased: “I wanted to go for rock. I didn’t want to go for pop-punk. I didn’t want to go for what’s necessarily popular right now. I wanted to go for the heart of rock music, which to me is a deep outcry – maybe about pain, maybe about joy.”

The new single follows <maybe> it’s my fault and hover like a GODDESS.

<COPINGMECHANISM> will follow last year’s excellent lately i feel EVERYTHING album, which saw WILLOW embrace elements of ’00s emo, pop-punk and indie. In our 4/5 review, we said, “Calm and collected when it needs to be but by no means lacking in heart and passion, this album is a fine collection of songs by an artist intent on forging her own path. It feels like there’s no stopping WILLOW’s rise.”
