Ceremony have shared another single, Dark Summer, from their forthcoming album Tell Me Your Dream.

The punk legends’ seventh album is arriving via Relapse Records on August 7, which is their first for seven years. They’ve already released its lead single, Death Destruction Mayhem.

“In Rock ‘n Roll music, feedback occurs when a guitar is purposely moved too close to an amplifier – like a dark summer – when dread finds you amid brilliant sunshine, it feels disorienting, confusing, and chaotic,” vocalist Ross Farrar says. “What you’re left with is malaise, doldrums of sorts that are both beautiful and terrifying.”

Listen below:

“Tell me your dream in a time when intimacy and vulnerability seem neglected. Tell me your dream when reciprocity has become a contract. Tell me your dream when they ask, ‘What do you do?’ Something untrained by the mind that sparks inspiration," says vocalist Ross Farrar to explain the album’s title.

“We’re bound together like family,” adds guitarist Anthony Anzaldo. “Our relationships are beyond the band. Ceremony is going to live no matter what. We’ve shifted into this dynamic where the choice isn’t ours anymore.”
