Wacken announce Sabaton as final headliner for this year’s 35th anniversary celebrations
Swedish metallers Sabaton will return to close out German metal extravaganza Wacken this summer.
Following a string of 2025 singles, Don’t Panic’s fourth album For Your Consideration is arriving at the end of this week.
Pennsylvania rockers Don’t Panic will release their new, fourth album this Friday.
Arriving on April 17 via SmartPunk Records, the LP goes by the cheeky title of For Your Consideration and includes 2025 singles Honest, Conscience, Lifetime Away and Calls From Home.
“On our upcoming fourth studio album, For Your Consideration, we tried to lean into the tension that has always lived at the core of this band: the push and pull between youthful nostalgia and adult self-reflection,” announces vocalist/guitarist Ted Felicetti. “People know us for our energetic pop-punk roots and emotionally charged songwriting, but I think we sharpen both edges here.
“We tried to confront the idea of getting older in an industry that prioritises youth, or call back nostalgia, but leave little room for what lives in between. The title is framed almost like a tongue-in-cheek awards submission. We tried to explore the idea of performative living. Asking what it means to create, to age, and to stay relevant in a culture that constantly recycles the past. The songs move between self-deprecation, frustration and defiance, and try to capture the feeling of outgrowing the very things that once defined us.
“Sonically, the album condenses everything Don’t Panic has built since our formation; melding punchy, fast-paced arrangements with more deliberate, emotionally resonant moments.
“At its core, For Your Consideration is about shedding old skin: rejecting the comfort of familiarity, confronting self-made failures, and choosing growth anyway. This is not just a continuation of our story. It’s a statement of intent.”
