Download is almost here! Find out whether you need to pack for sunshine or showers at Donington Park this weekend...
You’ve dragged your sleeping bag out the garage, practiced with the tent in the garden and bought as many tinnies as you can carry - but now, you’ve got to pack for the weather ahead of Download this weekend. Will it be shorts weather or poncho time? Brolly or sunglasses? We’ve got the round-up of what the weather’s going to look like down at Donington Park [via BBC Weather]…
Download’s getting off to a slightly more chilled start on Friday, with a bit less sun and a bit more cloud than the rest of the weekend. The top temperature will be 22 degrees and it’ll get down to 17 by the time Limp Bizkit take to the stage, so you might want to bring a hoodie for later in the day.
The second day of Download’s going to be a warmer one, with top temperatures of 25 degrees. Hopefully, with “sunny intervals and a moderate breeze” promised for the day, it won’t feel too uncomfortable. It’ll still be a balmy 21 degrees by the time Guns N’ Roses arrive (well, as long as they’re punctual…)
To quote Weezer, it’s going to be el scorcho come Sunday. The mercury will rise to 27 degrees by the middle of the afternoon, so bring a fan and the suncream if you’ll be out watching Bloodywood or The Pretty Reckless. There’ll be lows of 15 degrees, while the temperature will still be hovering in the low twenties around the time Linkin Park are set to close the festival.
