Ghost confirm details of Skeletour concert film 2 Big To Rig

It’s almost time to relive Ghost’s jaw-dropping Skeletour shows, as its much-hyped concert film, titled 2 Big To Rig, is officially landing in cinemas very soon.

After sharing a teaser in May that confirmed the film was coming in August, it’s now been announced that it will be shown in cinemas and IMAX from August 26 for a limited time only. Tickets will go on sale from next Thursday (July 23).

It was captured on 16mm film during two sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes which took place in September 2025, over the course of which 40,000 fans were in attendance.

The title was chosen as a nod to the band’s intention to bring the Skeletour to fans who missed out on seeing it in person, especially in territories where staging the show wasn’t logistically feasible.

The follow-up to 2024’s concert film RITE HERE RIGHT NOW takes a closer look at the live show itself, including behind-the-scenes interludes showcasing the crew members that work to bring the band’s vision to life and the only pro-shot footage of main man Papa V Perpetua.

The Skeletour unfolded over 70 shows across North America, Europe, and Mexico and wrapped up in February of this year, ahead of the band concluding the album cycle and taking a break.
