Ghost cancel three Skeletour dates due to major U.S. winter storm
With millions facing heavy snow and freezing rain this weekend, Ghost have been forced to cancel their shows in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
The 2026 Swedish Grammy Awards nominations are out, with Ghost named in a whopping six categories including Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year.
Ghost have just revealed that they’ve been nominated for six Swedish Grammis this year.
Despite wrapping up their incredible Skeletour earlier this week at California’s Intuit Dome, the masked titans won’t be out of the spotlight just yet, with the band’s home-country awards ceremony taking place on April 29 in Stockholm (though it’s not been confirmed yet if Papa V Perpetua and co. will be in attendance).
As well as big-hitters like Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year for 2025’s Skeletá, they’re also named in the more specific Hard Rock/Metal category. Plus, Tobias Forge, Max Grahn, Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir are also up for Producer, Songwriter and Lyricist Of The Year for their work on the record.
Ghost have typically done very well at the Swedish Grammis over the years, having already been nominated seven times in the past and winning Best Hard Rock/Metal Album four times: for Infestissumam, Meliora, their Popestar EP and Impera.
Best of luck for 2026, Papa!
