Ice Nine Kills are wanted for horror soundtracks aplenty nowadays, and for good reason. Their latest endeavour is the soundtrack for Universal Studio Hollywood’s new Halloween Horror Nights attraction, Terror Tram starring Art the Clown.
The Terror Tram is one of Universal Studio Hollywood’s signature attractions, in which guests ride into Universal’s backlot and walk through its famous sets which are infested with scare actors.
This year’s edition features Art the Clown from the Terrifier franchise, who arrives at the Universal backlot with a bag of presents only to realise it’s too early for Christmas. Handling it like a totally normal guy, he proceeds to hijack the tram.
Ice Nine Kills have created the soundtrack for the experience, creating dark reworkings of classic Christmas songs. It follows up their Terrifier-themed song A Work Of Art.
“We are forever honoured that Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and his team invited us to play in their sandbox of bloodshed,” the band say. “Art himself, David Howard Thornton, killed it in the A Work of Art music video, and we’ve had Damien and several of his cast members at our Silver Scream Cons every year so far. Halloween Horror Nights is among our favourite destinations each season, and our fans love it, too. This is yet another natural step forward in our unnatural world of horror.”
Halloween Horror Nights runs from September 3 until November 1. Check out a teaser below:
