Actor Jason Momoa Partied Backstage With Slayer And Anthrax

Looks like our dream of Jason Momoa playing Tom Araya has just gotten one step closer to reality. Instagram is currently blowing up with of the Aquaman and Game Of Thrones star hanging out with Slayer and Anthrax backstage at their concert in Budapest, Hungary.

In his post, Momoa wrote “love metal so much fire it was one of the greatest shows of my life childhood dream @slayerbandofficial @anthrax my mind was blown Meeting your idols and they’re fucking amazing So thankful so grateful.”

Anthrax’s Charlie Benante posted his own image with the Hollywood star, writing, “When #KhalDrago comes to your show you immediately go into @gameofthrones talk!”

This is not the first time Aquaman himself has shown how much of a metal fan he actually is.

When preparing for the role of Conan the Barbarian in the 2011 titular film, he had mentioned how Pantera’s classic track Walk was “definitely the 'Conan song.’” He had also said Metallica and Rage Against The Machine “always helps.”

Slayer is currently embarking on their final world tour, so if you have ever wanted to see the thrash legends in action, it’s now or never. A full final U.S. tour, which, according to Les Claypool, will have Primus as an opener, may be announced soon, but here are the official dates coming up thus far:
