Digital Content Manager
Full-time | 40 hours per week

Location: Hybrid (minimum two days per week in our East London office)
Start: Immediate / September 2026

Kerrang! has been the world's leading rock and alternative music brand since 1981. Today, we reach millions of fans across the globe through website, social media channels, newsletters, print magazines and live events.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Content Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has experience curating and creating digital content, a passion for alternative culture, and is looking to develop their skills at one of music media's most iconic brands.

While the role is primarily based in our East London office, you'll also have opportunities to attend gigs, festivals and industry events throughout the year, creating engaging social content and helping bring Kerrang!'s coverage to life from the heart of the scene.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage Kerrang!'s Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels.
  • Plan, create and publish engaging social content that promotes editorial, brand partnerships and the Kerrang! Store.
  • Produce and manage Kerrang!'s newsletters.
  • Proofread and maintain website content, ensuring it follows editorial standards and SEO best practice.
  • Deliver social and digital assets for brand partnership campaigns, working closely with the brand partnership and editorial teams to ensure campaigns are executed successfully.
  • Monitor social and newsletter performance, using insights to improve engagement and audience growth.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and identify opportunities to grow our audience.
  • Provide administrative support to the editorial team as required.

About You

You'll have:

  • Some professional experience creating or managing social media content for a brand, publisher or agency.
  • A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Experience creating short-form video content.
  • A strong command of the English language and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO and experience using a CMS.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A genuine passion for rock and alternative music.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard office hours when required to cover live events, gigs, festivals and more.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms and analytics tools.
