Ahead of the release of the upcoming Salad Days: A Decade Of Punk In Washington, D.C. documentary, a song from Dave Grohl's early days has emerged, courtesy of Rolling Stone.
The Foo Fighters/Nirvana legend plays drums on Mission Impossible's 1985 track, titled Now I'm Alone. “Mission Impossible were a phenomenal, albeit short-lived, live band,” Salad Days filmmaker Scott Crawford says. “I went to several of their practices in Virginia and just sat back and watch them go nuts. They were all superb musicians and watching Dave behind the drum kit was always a thrill.”
