The BRITs reveal Ozzy Osbourne tribute for this weekend’s awards show
Not only will Ozzy Osbourne be honoured with the BRITs Lifetime Achievement award, but there’s an all-star tribute performance planned on Saturday night…
Unsurprisingly, Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency in Vegas is getting even bigger, with the band adding six new dates due to “unbelievable demand”.
Metallica have announced a further six gigs at Las Vegas Sphere.
The band’s forthcoming Life Burns Faster residency in Sin City is already getting bigger – though they’re yet to confirm when these new shows will be, but they tell fans, “Keep watching for dates and additional info.”
The original run will see ’Tallica take on Sphere on October 1 and 3, 15 and 17, 22 and 24, and 29 and 31, with no repeat songs on the setlists each Thursday and Saturday (“As you’ve come to expect, each set of shows will be No Repeat Weekends, meaning if you attend both the Thursday and Saturday shows, you will not hear the same song twice”).
“About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2 back in ’23, I thought ‘We have to do this, it’s completely uncharted territory!’” said Lars Ulrich when announcing the initial first eight dates. “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months’ time, and way fuckin’ psyched to go next-level!”
