Pinkshift have unveiled a meaningful new single entitled to me.
Following last year’s ace debut album Love Me Forever, the trio say that their first new release since that record is “love song to you, and to everyone you love. Our very first love song. The realisation that despite everything that is difficult, to be truly loved is to love ourselves. to me is an introduction to a journey we’ll be embarking on this year of grief, ancestry, and spiritual growth. thank you for sharing this space with us. you make us feel indestructible.”
Vocalist Ashrita Kumar also explains: “Love is a powerful form of energy that is not just given or taken, but flows endlessly and connects us all. to me speaks to the indestructibility of such an energy, and what it feels like to hold love close to your heart and with those around you. It is a realisation that despite everything that is difficult, to be truly loved is to love ourselves.”
