Polyphia’s Tim Henson drops debut solo single, Original Sin
“A waltz that feels like it’s driving forward, something elegant but uncomfortable…” Polyphia man Tim Henson has unveiled his first-ever solo single, Original Sin.
Listen to Polyphia’s typically funky new four-minute track Let’s Go, which is the theme tune for Riot Games’ 2XKO.
Polyphia have released their theme tune for new two-vs-two fighting game 2XKO.
Entitled Let’s Go, the four-minute banger was written and performed by all four members of the band – Tim Henson, Scott LePage, Clay Gober and Clay Aeschliman – with RJ Pasin on production duties and Jesse Zuretti helping to compose the track.
“As someone deeply rooted in the metal and guitar world for over 23 years (and now game audio and dev), it’s so inspiring to hear each member of Polyphia’s unique musical voice with the storytelling and energy that fighting games demand,” writes Jesse. “Composing this theme was about more than just writing music, it was about creating a sound that resonates with 2XKO players, that captures the soul of the FGC’s incredible history of music and games, and feels authentically tied to the characters and world of Runeterra and beyond.”
The 2XKO Closed Beta begins today, September 9, and is available globally on the PC.

Earlier this year, Tim Henson teased some big names for the follow-up to 2022’s huge Remember That You Will Die album: “We have one with Serj [Tankian] from System Of A Down and we just finished a second BABYMETAL collab – that’s for their record [Sunset Kiss from METAL FORTH] and we’re working on one to send them for our record,” the guitarist said. “So hopefully we’ll make that one come to fruition.”
He also called the album “heavy”, and enthused that, “That’s exciting for us, and I think last year was really eye-opening for us in terms of how we should start composing for the live performance.”
