Polyphia’s Tim Henson has just unveiled his first-ever solo single, Original Sin.

The track arrives as Tim also announces his own clothing brand of the same name – the title of which is about ‘creation as a game of agency, where meaning only exists because choice does’, according to a press release.

Speaking about the actual song itself, Tim says that Original Sin “started as something digital with synths and keys, but once I translated it to my nylon-string guitar, everything clicked.

“I wanted to play with contradiction: a waltz that feels like it’s driving forward, something elegant but uncomfortable. Conceptually, it’s about choice. If you’re forced to do the right thing, it doesn’t mean anything. That idea – freedom, temptation, consequence – is something I’ve been thinking about a lot.”

Check it out below, and also get doubly excited, because Tim’s main band are reportedly still a ‘central focus for 2026’…
