RADAR announces DOOM composer Mick Gordon will headline its 2027 edition

RADAR Festival have booked a world-first for next year's event, which will feature DOOM composer Mick Gordon performing its soundtrack live for the very first time.

RADAR Festival 2026 has only just got underway, but they’ve got in early with a world-first announcement for next year’s festival in the form of a headline slot from legendary video game composer Mick Gordon.

Mick is responsible for the soundtrack of the video game franchise DOOM, a legendary soundtrack in the gaming world that takes a lot of cues from the world of heavy metal.

At next year’s RADAR, he’ll be playing it live for the first time ever, featuring the his custom instrument the DOOM Machine, a full live band and an orchestra. Massive.

Super Early Bird tickets for next year, which will take place at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse between July 30 and August 1, will go on sale next Friday, August 7.

Meanwhile, this year’s edition is being headlined by Animals As Leaders, Skindred and Thy Art Is Murder.
