Slipknot keep things (mostly) old-school with Sick New World setlist

Slipknot have only recently finished up co-headlining Sick New World 2024 alongside System Of A Down, and once again they thrilled maggots with a killer old-school setlist.

After bringing 1999 to the desert at Pappy + Harriett’s in Pioneertown a few nights back, on Saturday, April 27 they treated fans at Las Vegas’ Sick New World to a similar setlist – albeit a slightly shorter one, presumably down to a more limited stage time.

Out of the 12 songs performed on the night at Sick New World, nine of them were from the ’Knot’s iconic first three albums: 1999’s self-titled debut, 2001’s Iowa, and 2004’s Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses).

And of those songs that aren’t at least 20 years old, the band also chose to unleash viral TikTok favourite Custer, All Hope Is Gone’s classic single Psychosocial, and Unsainted from 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind (they didn’t play anything at all from most recent album The End, So Far).
