Killswitch Engage Confirm Their New Record Is Done, Will Come Out This Fall

Killswitch Engage have announced that their new record is finished, mastered, and due out in the fall.

Although summer is just starting, metalheads are already looking forward to Killswitch Engage unveiling their long-awaited new record this fall. We still don’t know the title of the album, but we do know that it will have 17 tracks and it has already been mastered, according to bassist Mike D’antonio.

In an interview with The Edge, Mike stated, “We finished recording, finally. We finished mastering, finally, for the new record, so it’s going to be out in the fall. It is the best time of year, you can break out the sweatshirts and long pants.”

He also mentioned extra tracks to be released even later, saying, “We actually recorded too many songs. It kind of threw Jesse for a bit of a loop. We had, like, 22, 21 songs that we actually completed all the music for except for vocals, and then it was time to sit down and do it, and it, like, fried his brain.”

This is exciting news for fans, especially following the announcement of a co-headlining North American tour featuring Killswitch and Clutch this summer. Catch them at one of the dates below:
