Lacuna Coil Release New Single, Save Me

Earlier this year, Italian goth metallers Lacuna Coil announced their ninth studio album, Black Anima, to be released later this month. Now, the band have released a new single from the record, called Save Me.

The track sees Lacuna Coil erring on the hard rock side of things, rather than going to especially metallic or gothic ends of the spectrum. The song is mid-paced, with a big singalong chorus, as well as steady drumming and riffage. That said, frontwoman Cristina Scabbia has a spoken-word section in in the middle of the track that lends a dramatic gravitas to the whole thing, so Coilettes will still have plenty to chew on here.
