Watch twenty one pilots debut a mash-up of their mega-single Heathens with the Stranger Things theme tune in Romania (spoiler: it works amazingly well).

Having picked up Best Live Act presented by Music Venue Trust at last month’s Kerrang! Awards, twenty one pilots are continuing to prove why they’re one of the must-see bands of the year, sharing an amazing new live mash-up of Heathens and Stranger Things.

The duo – Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun – gave their Suicide Squad mega-single a reworking, combining it with Stranger Things’ iconic theme tune at the Electric Castle festival in Romania last week. And there’s even an official performance video to showcase it all, with the screens behind the band playing out plenty of already-iconic footage from Stranger Things 4.

This is the absolute perfect combination. Is it going to become a live staple going forwards? We sure hope so.
