unpeople have just shared a brand-new single and video, clouds.

Their first new music of 2026, the band – Jake Crawford, Luke Caley, Em Lodge and Richard Rayner – are getting things warmed up ahead of a busy summer of festivals, including the likes of Slam Dunk, Rock for People and Download.

Jake says that clouds is “essentially about not letting yourself be influenced by what other people think you should be doing to get ahead artistically, and trusting your own vision and process.

“I could feel myself being pulled in lots of directions when we started the band and I’m glad we stuck to our guns. I feel like this song is an excellent representation of us doing just that: ‘not buying it’ – i.e. quick fixes or hopping on trends, be it musically or the way we present ourselves as a unit.”
