Metallica announce non-Sphere U.S. shows with Suicidal Tendencies and Spiritbox
In-between their residency in Vegas, Metallica will be playing a couple of smaller shows for the 25th anniversary of Uncasville’s Mohegan Sun Arena.
It is a great song, to be fair.
Turns out that even Metallica's Rob Trujillo and Kirk Hammett can't resist 1984 synthpop number Take On Me.
As they often do at shows, Rob and Kirk treated fans at May 2's Oslo gig at the Telenor Arena to a special jam segment – and last night, their tune of choice was the a-ha hit.
Yep, can't go wrong with that:
The band are still on the road in Europe this month, before they return home for a huge U.S. tour from September onwards.
Fingers crossed for some more pop hit covers in these upcoming sets…
